Lansoter 30mg capsules contain lansoprazole, a proton pump inhibitor that selectively inhibits the H+/K+ ATPase enzyme in the stomach lining, blocking the final step of acid production.
It is used to manage conditions like gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), duodenal ulcers, gastric ulcers, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, and erosive esophagitis. Lansoter provides rapid and sustained reduction in gastric acid, promoting healing of ulcers and relief from heartburn and acid reflux symptoms.
The enteric-coated capsules ensure protection from stomach acid, allowing the active drug to reach the intestine for absorption and effective therapeutic action.
